ok i went to radio shack today, and got 5 bulbs.
part # 272-1177 (thanks lance)
worked like a charm, and only $1.99/bulb vs $10.72/bulb at napa.

I just thought of something...
You didn't touch the bulbs with your bare fingers did you? If so, take them back out and clean them with alcohol or something that won't leave any residue. If you don't, the oil from your fingers will almost certainly cause the bulbs to burn out quickly. This is true of all Halogen bulbs including headlights, foglights, and indoor home lighting.

Well, I do have a few mods up my sleeve coming soon. But those are secrets for now.... You'll like 'em tho I promise! I may not actually ge those lights dewey. I'm contemplating LED's. Found some Formula's to use so I can do it.
