Car: for now i have a 79 firebird that had a toasted 301 (imagine that!)
Engine: well i *had* a 301, but there is a pontiac 350 on the stand to get me on the road again and a 428 after that :D
Transmission: th350
well, too late now

i guess it's too late to respond now. i wanted to go so bad, but i'm broke and i haven't got the tires put in my car yet plus i didn't have the gas to get there. last year i went, i got the pit pass. that was so cool but it cost about $30. next time i'll just stop down the road and put someone in the trunk then smuggle them in that way, sure beats getting bent over a wooden hobby horse sans vasoline to get in the gates. when is the next race do ya know? maybe i can be at that one.

I thought that the nightfire nationals were around August 9. If your broke and still want to see some of the action for a race you can go to the practices for pretty cheap. I went to the practice for something and actually got to see some records getting broken. Not to menton a couple of :hail: thirdgens do wheelies.

I don't know for sure that it is on the 9th. I don't know how cheap practices are either. My brother took me so I got in for free.

maybe i won't make it

i fon't think i'll be able to go to the nightfires, i'm strapped and on half a tank. blew all my money to get my tires put on. i guess it's probably better that i spent my cash to get rid of the catskin tires instead of going to the drags.

July 27???? That was last month. If you meant August 27, I'll be happy to be there if I can work it out.
