WA License Plate Doesn't Fit
WA License Plate Doesn't Fit
I just licensed my camaro here in WA.
Prior to that it was licensed in TX.
When I went to put the rear plate on, the holes didn't line up. The plates are intended to sit in the little grove/lip on the bottom of the license plate holder aren't they?
The TX plates are about 1/4 of an inch taller.
The top holes on the TX plates are about 1/8 of an inch lower than the WA plates. Before the TX plates I had MO plates and those fit fine too.
I used a file to elongate the holes in my new WA plates so I could attach the plates to the car.
This is seems strange to me that I needed to slightly modify the plates so I could put them on the car.
Has this happened to anyone else?
