Seattle high-perf shops

Hey guys, i'm making a roadtrip through this area and would like to pick up some nice cheap parts while i'm there.
Looking at a nitrous kit specifically. Anyone know of a decent high perf shop in the Seattle area that I should contact?

Thanks

I don't think you'll find a cheap Nitrous kit in the area...

Re: Seattle high-perf shops

I just meant that if I find it up here in Canada it's 20% more expensive because of the maple leaf on the money. So in USA everything is cheaper.
I was just looking for a place that sold it. I phoned one place in.... I forget, but anyway they'd have to order it in, and it would be upwards of $700. Summit has it for $519 so i'd probably just order it into the states and bring it home.

Thanks though.

That was going to be my suggestion, order it from Summit and pick it up in the states.

Re: Seattle high-perf shops

That's right. So right now our monopoly money is worth more than your American pesos. Boy it only took 30 years, but being able to say that is pretty sweet. That's just another reason for me to buy directly from USA.

As a side note, there's a big problem right now with the CA dollar being so high. We still pay 30% more for a brand new car up here, purely because the import fee's are so high. ie. dealerships here charge 30% more. So instead, people drive down into the states and bring one up here, pay the ~15% duty/tax at the border, and pocket the extra 15%. Speedometers are dual reading nowadays, so there's really no reason not to.
So dealerships are taking such a hit now they are offering big incentives, "canadian pricing specials", etc etc etc. It's pretty funny to watch actually. Some dealerships are refusing to honor warantee if the car isn't bought up here (which just means someone will never buy... lets say Ford, ever again...)
Time for NAFTA to start doing something rather than being an easy to say acronym...

Re: Seattle high-perf shops

dont even get me started on that mess. That is exactly what i would do if i were canadian. Nafta is a joke we really got the short end of the stick on that one. Check the junkyards for nitrous kits i have found one on a mitsibishi eclipse that was wrecked the interior and engine were mostly good though. You never know what you will find with all these brand new tuners nowdays.
