What year do you have? That seems like a lot to go wrong with the earlier models...

He has arguably the coolest 3rd-gen F-body ever made, a '82 Recaro Edition Trans Am

Re: Looking for an 82-84 trans am near seattle WA

lol ya its been a real problem i replaced everything. tps, oxygen sensor, ecm, gave it a tune up new spark plugs, distributor cap, thermostat sensor, new rotor new coil new electronic ignition module....... so many things have gone wrong with this car but its a project car so i knew this would happen. when i gave it the tune up i took the car out on the freeway so i could adjust the tps and on my way back the eim went out and i was stuck on the side of the road for 4 hrs in the winter the battery running dead so no heat......anyway i took it back home replaced the eim and coil ran fine for 10min and then died and had the same problem. apparently the previous owner took it to someone and that person forgot to put the grounding clip back in..... so with a lack of better words it was fried. damn cross fire injection... lol thanks everyone
