Finally got a 3rd Gen - Pontiac

Well been working on the 4th gen TA for so long that I finally came across a 3rd gen that I will use as my driver. It sat for a year before I came along and picked it up for $500.00. Damn a 383 backed by a T56 would be nice.

Re: Finally got a 3rd Gen - Pontiac

Yes it was quite a find, but his Original asking price was 1K but he couldn't get it running so I talked him down on the price.
It is a 305 with Quadrajet, 5spd, Custom 2.5" exhaust !CAT, Flowmaster Cat-back. I swapped the front seats out this past weekend with leather 4th gen seats. It is a nice running car not all that powerful though it sounds the part, but then again it is a 305. This will be primarily my daily driver as I also picked up another 87 Formula for $100 minus a transmission but that is alright as currently building a 383 Stroker already have the T56 with a SPEC 3+.

That is a rare color too. I am a huge fan on yellow formula's. Looks like a great project. Have fun with it. You got a killer deal on her...

Nothing says 80's third gen like a yellow formula. I love it!
