Did that run 92 octane gas? Actually, at 26 mpg 92 octane gas would be cheaper then my 87 octane at 22 mpg...
Damn, that isn't even that expensive to build... most expensive part would be the Vortec and the Miniram for me.
What do you think a aftermarket cam would do for that?
Would a T-56 work as well as a ZF-6?
I'll probably have to get the complete Miniram induction system, including the computer, so I hope that will help.
Thanks a ton!
Douglas

10k for the engine, but that engine could run w/o the SC at some good horsepower while you save up the money for the SC :-) And if it doesn't break for 75k miles or something that'll hold me.
I will remember the offer when i am ready to do this engine build.
Thanks,
Douglas

A good friend of mine recently built up the Camaro in the photo below, and he's told me he gets over 20 mpg with a Richmond 6-speed. Don't know what his rear gears are, or what his hp is. One thing I do know though, he just walked away from my '67 Olds as if it was standing still, and my '67 has 330 hp and 3:42 gears, and weighs 3450 lbs (less than my Camaro).
