Above the over-axle portion of the intermediate pipe. The tabbed end keys into the muffler/gas tank heat shield.
thank you drew, im trying to get these shields on before i take the car in to get exhaust, i just got the gas tank sheild in today
any idea on how it lays in there?, it is about the differential and driveshaft?

it mounts to the back of the seat area, toward the spring pocketOriginally Posted by evilemokid94

blue circle slides on to the muffler shield over the axle
yellow circles screw to the side of the frame by the spring pocket, you should be able to find the old holes.
red circle is the slot where it screws to a tap on the sheetmetal behind the rear seat area just ahead of the axle.

i got all of them but the red circle, and i couldnt figure out what you guys ment by that part being keyed, i tried making it where the center peice of it was on the outside of the gas tank heat sheild but i couldnt get the holes to line up, so if i have it wrong im going to ask the exhaust shop im going to, to do a check and make sure they are all ok, and if not to correct them for me. thank you guys for the help.
is that heat shield from the same car its currently going on? if its not the holes will not line up, you have to make new ones.

it is, but if i may ask, why wont sheilds from other cars work?Originally Posted by //<86TA>\\

they will work, but the exact location of the screw holes in the car are totally random, depends where they guy with the screw gun put the screw on the mount tabs that particular minute. they should all be pretty close, but will not be exactly the same.Originally Posted by evilemokid94
