Cops yelled in my face

To make the story kinda short ......I was driving in really heavy traffic like where i was driving to should have taken me 30 mins but today it took an hour and a half.Anyways I was pissed off cause of this guy behind me .....so then later a green F150 honked at me ....that was it, I ****n floored it and spin the tires a ways down the street.....then the F150 caught up and started honking at me with something in there hand....well that was there RCMP bage, she was off duty.....she was yelling to pull over.....so I did.....then she yelled at me like no joke , right in my face....at this point I was so , she told me that she was going to throw everything in the book at me ....if she had a ticket book ..... she demanded my licence # and that I get out of the car .....I told her that I wasn't and in a kind way to stop yelling at me.She didnt.....anyways she is going to check the computer on my file , and if I have had any warnings in the last while , she will throw the book at me .... can she do this ???? What is she going to come to my house and make me sign the tickets???? Whever the ****n bitch can die!

An off-duty policeman can issue a ticket. In fact, a policeman can issue a ticket based on a complaint by a citizen if the person is willing to testify in court and found to be a credible witness.

Been there, when I was a youngster. I don't do that anymore.

You don't do that anymore or you don't have that happen anymore? I think it is more that doesn't happen anymore...

I have had bad experiences with "bitch" cops, and I didn't do anything and got yelled at, same kinda thing, until another local cop showed up and I think made some comment that she was messing with the wrong teenager (son of the town lawyer) and she came back and apologished.

In the early 70s I had a "mis-spent youth". Racked up 14 speeding tickets in my first year of driving. Then the Government caught up with me and took my driver's licence away for a few years.

And YES, I did have a couple of guys file a "complaint" against me. (And I have agaist a few too). One was the "instigator" and the cops sided with me. But I also had an off-duty cop flip me his badge and got me to pull over. I that particular case, I admitted that I was "impatient" and he calmed down.

I don't do THAT anymore.
