GM fuel gage 0-90 ohm resistor band

I'm doing some testing to determine cheap ways to fix GM 0-90 ohm fuel tank sending units.

If anyone has any version/year/model of a 0-90 ohm GM tank sending unit sitting around on a junk pile, I'd like to get it to experiment with the resistor band wiring inside.

Thanks,
Ed

I'm interested in this also. I don't have anything to offer except for labor, so if you need any help salvaging test parts at the yard, let me know.

Thanks! Appreciate the offer, if my back is out it's hard to scramble under fuel tanks, heh.

Here's a link to what I've been doing in this area recently.

I've got one of the sending units completely apart if you want to stop by and see the guts up close. Also, let me know when you're ready to do another boneyard run for parts and pleasure and we'll go.
