Pro-Gas 3rdGens

Here's some of the 3rdGens that did really well at the recent Pro-Gas championships, Hawaii Raceway Park. We should go out and cheer these drivers on once in a while!

If someone had posted the schedule, I would have gone, sigh. Watching brackets is mostly boring, but 8 and 9-second cars are a rush!

What's the real decision on whether or not HRP will close, stay open or relocate? So far, I've heard it every which way...

whew. hey everyone. been awhile since i've posted here haha. but yeah, i was covering tom's dragster all night shooting video. (i was the guy with the video cam right around the starting line) he ran good that night with a first run of 6.24 & a second run of 6.17.....i think. the ironic thing is that he had the backup motor in it & it was de-tuned. (he blew up the newer engine on big island recently) but i guess it goes to show you that sometimes the old work horse is better than the new!

And what made it even better was that it wasn't just an exhibition run by himself. he raced side by side with kubo's funny car on each run. so they were real races!!! good stuff!!
