help with install map pocket

i bought an 84 t/a map pocket and wish to trade it out on my 83 t/a can anyone tell me what i need to do?
what tool to use etc
if this isnt the right place to post let me know moderator

I beleive that there are six plactic friction clips [similar to the ones on our door panels] that hold it in on the dash. There is a special tool you can buy to pry them out of the holes but you could just use two screw drivers to pry instead as long as you are careful. They arent skrewed in or anything and can easily be pryed off if you know where the friction clips are.
