ok so I am lookin for a tranny to replace my beastly th350 that slips like hell...gonna need the torque arm too cuz the guy I got it from kinda messed it up...lookin for some better heads and cam too...and some decent rims, and maybe a posi....thanks a lot guys...umm have a lot to trade too so if ya wanna trade lemme know what ya need...thanks

What type of overhead console? T roof or hard top? I have a hard top.

yeah I'm not sure..I heard there were some numbers on it somewhere to check...but don't know...all I know is that it's from a 70's c20

 

Go to this site... http://www.mortec.com/ it will tell you where to look for casting codes, date codes and stamping codes to detemine what block and heads you have.

I have a 9 bolt posi disk brake rear end and a 10 bolt posi disk brake rear end I would sell. Also I may be parting out my 89 RS soon, so I may have a 700 R4 tranny for you with the torque arm and all related pieces. I would also have my 89 RS rims for sale too.

As long as it's a 350 it should be a 4 bolt main block,so not a crap engine but a good platform to start out with.

 

yeah I know it's a good platform, I just wish it was out of somethin else, cuz I have to rebuild now cuz the rings are shot, and the blow by is unreal, and I would like to get different heads, cam and intake, and I need a tranny...I just wish these problems would have been appearant when I first got it, cuz I would have passed cuz now I don't have the money to do half of this stuff...oh well toys are expensive right...but at least I have a solid body to play with....oh yeah, I could use some t-top weather stripping too, anyone know where to get? or should I just get the universal and make it work? thanks to everyone on here too, you guys are an amazing group of people and are always willing to help, can't express how much I appreciate that..thanks
