I am trying to locate a good section of floor to patch a 3rd gen. I have attached a photo here to show the area I need. Its the area inside the red area. If anyone has it let me know and a price.

well , its worth that for the time and trouble to cut it with a plasma cutter and ship it, sorry, don't work for nothing

Do you still need this?? I have a few thirdgens which might have solid metal in that area. I'd want probably $50 to cut that piece out, let me know.

That may actually be a good point. I would remove the ground effects and look the rocker panel over. Chances are the front half of the rocker is gone. Worse still, rockers tend to rust from the inside out, so if there's rust anywhere in there, the whole piece will evetually rot. Depending on what you're doing with the car, replacing the rockers might be a good idea. Last time I checked, the NOS rocker panels are still available from GM to the tune of $180.00 CAD. The actual piece you're looking at used to be a seam. The easiest way to fix that would probably be to bend up a new piece of sheet steel and weld it in.
