I need just the cable from the shifter to the tranny.
When installing an engine and trans in my 89 RS, I found that the original cable is destroyed. The plastic line type thing broke near the shifter, so now the cable does nothing.

I'm currently located in Flint, MI. Pick up sounds good to me if you're nearby.

 

i paid 34.99 for the shifter cable at my local chevy dealership

and then paid 100 labor to get it put on

i ordered a stock replacement from 700r4.com for 35.00. it is very simple to install.

they also have the tvmadeezee system. it is a great product but it is expensive. i have it on my z-28.

if someone has an automatic parts car sitting around in the Flint or Detroit area, let me know. I'll throw a few dollars at you and take the shifter cable.
