will an 82 power hatch assembly fit my 88? Thanks

I was under the impression that they deed not have a pull down motor until 86.

I didn't read the post that well. it says that it is from a 82 manual hatch assemble with electric popper switch. He said that the camaro has the switch on the center console.

could my camaro came with a trunk release and not a hatch pull down? I have an 88 sport coupe. PW, PL, PT cruise, ac Loaded.
