I'm looking into a slow build of a new engine for the camaro. Im not sure what I want to do yet, but I'm thinking either a 400 SBC or a big block that wouldn't be insanely hard to find parts/make power with. Anyone in the seattle area (western washington) have anything? Just kinda puttin my feelers out there to see what my options are.
Thanks!

my dad has a SB 400 hes going to look into selling. has had all the block work. has the pistions for it. painted chevy orange.
hrrmm has it been checked for cracks magnafluxed, etc? Id assume so considering you said he had the block work done. This sounds like this might be a good thing
Any idea on how much he might want for it?
Thanks!

well i know hes spent about 1000$ or parts including the block pistons, all the machine work, inake, he would probably want like 1500 or so
too rich for my blood
Thats probably a decent deal, but I guess im gonna be lookin for a decent block alone. Thanks for the response though!
