Ive got my stock Rochester 4 BBL Carb from my 84 305 thats just sitting in my garage. It has 68,000 original miles on it since 1984 and runs great. How much are you willing to spend. I am very negotiable. I will clean it up and take pictures for you tomorrow hence its too late for me to go and dig it out of my stock parts in the garage.
carb
I have a stock quadrajet and intake from an 87 that I am going to take out in about two wekks from 3/20/06. It is from a 305 and very reliable. I can clean it up or even rebiuld it for you if you're willing to wait about another week or so. I will be converting my car to TPI so i no longer need these parts.

I will get back to you tomorrow about the Rochester. It is bone stock with all the sensor connections and everything on it. I'll clean the grease off of it. I never had any problems with it. The car was my grandmothers when she bought it in 84 so she didnt beat on it or anything so it should be fine. I really dont want to rip you off. I truly think 450 is too much money for a carb. I payed alot less for my edelbrock. Im thinkin more along the lines of 400 maybe? I have to speak to my father because we are owners at Fedex with the shipping and all so ill get back tomorrow.
Edit: Your a teenage according to your profile and so am I and I dont like to see people pay too much. I'll take 400 most likely. I run it across the old man.

Oh...in that case nevermind. I thought you meant the carb complete with all its sensors etc. Sorry about the confusion.

did you try a j-yard? they can often get you a running 305 complete with a 30-60 day warr. for that. if you try enough yards you could find one from a f-body with motor mounts and all

305 is a 90 degree engine I think the 2.8 is a 60 degree engine, so you will need a transmission also. Check into it before you pull your car apart
