There not hard to install. There are three bolts that you take off inside the drivers fender well.(you may have to move a bracket thats in the way of one of the bolts). The steering column intermediate shaft has to be loosened to slide it back and the power steering lines have to be removed from the box. Then remove the not holding the pitman arm to the centerlink. it takes me about 20 minutes to remove one and about the same to put one back on. I dont think i forgot anything but all you have to do is give it a good look, it will be obvious what you have to remove. I dont think it will effect your alignment, usually only have that problem when replacing tierods or moving the strut towers. I bought the car for parts so it was never driven other than pushing it around. Steering feels OK. You can take some of the slack out by adjustin the nut on top og the steering box a1/4 turn at a time.

JT do you know how many miles were on the car....I have bought from you before so i trust you just wondering......when i took my car to get it aligned they told me the whole front end needed to be replaced so i replaced everything except ball joints and the car feels like its pulling and they rechecked the alignment and said it was right on...then they finally drove it and said it was the steering box had slack in it and was causing it to feel like it was kinda floating in the front.my car has over 200k on it...

Man, to be honest with you i'm not sure. The car the box came out of is long gone. I know it was over 100k but not sure of the exact #. You may try to adjust the nut on top of yours if you havent done so already. It makes a big differnce in the boxes............jt
