Looking into getting a Procharger P-1SC for my 1991 TA w/ 305 and 5 speed.

Who has the best price for this unit?

Thanks.

Got mine from rpmoutlet.com It was a little cheaper than superchargersonline.com, but I prolly got raped cause I didnt even consider buying it from someplace not online. Procharger did screw up my order though, I'm still waiting to get the correct intercooler.

Do you actually think you could have gotten it cheaper from a local shop or vendor???

Thought on line shopping was the cheapest way to go since there is less overhead and such????

I don't have any vendors in my local area that sell high performance equipment much less ProChargers SC's.

Nah prolly couldnt have, or if I could have, not by much. My point was I didnt even look, so its possible. I was decently happy with rpmoutlet. Maybe if you tell them I reccommended you they'll remember to hound ATI to get me the right intercooler.

be careful with that 5 speed though, you can tear it up with the supercharger installed.

I was also wondering about this. Guess I just need to be patient and methodical about my shifting.

A friend of mine has a Fiero with a supercharged V6 w/ 5 speed and it kicks ***. He has a rev limiter on it. Guess I would need one of these?

Any suggestions?

Yeah I want to supercharge/turbocharge my fiero too, but the Trans Am breaks way too much. The getrag in those fieros is amazingly tough though.

What do you mean "The TA breaks way to much" ? You are putting a lot of money into repairs???

Heh, well I blew the 305 so I replaced it with a 350 over the winter appx. $2500 bought a procharger $3500 new engine decides to freak the hell out, still havent figured out whats wrong so I cant install the procharger yet. But I've still spent less on my 2 domestics including repairs than I would have by just getting a huge loan to get some pos new civic like all the other people my age seem to think is cool.

Yes. I was looking on the road the other day thinking how all of the cars look so much alike. It is nice to have something different, but we also have to pay the dues by having older cars. Plus the modifications add to the "experiences" we encounter.

Hope you get the bugs out.
