i did a blowthru on a 69 camaro here was the combo
355 - slightly hyperutectic dished pstons - 882 casting
heads stock except for cutting for larger valve springs -
comp cams camshaft .480 intake .460 exhaust 230 intake
220 exhaust duration at .050 - edelbrock victor jr intake -
holley 650 carb with some minor mods - holley black
fuel pump with mallory return style regulator - griffin
intercooler core custom end tanks -
car made 397 hp on a mustang brand chassis dyno
on a 12 lb low boost pull on a 14 lb medium boost run at
the track it went 11.40 at 119 mph at almost 3500 lb
race weight on street tires ...

Turbotator: Did you mix up your intake and exhaust lift and duration? Cams expecially for forced induction favor the exhaust side with more lift and duration.

I'm new to this, but here's a good link:http://groups.yahoo.com/group/blowthruturbo/messages. These guys are into blowthru in a big way.

no i did not
the cam has more lift and duration on the intake
it is supposed to help with exhaust velocity ,
when jay adams at comp cam first suggested it
i was doubtful but this is a slammed cruiser car
and at the track has no traction and we just leave
at off idle and the car goes low 1.70 60 foots so maybe
the cam company knows more than i do
mike
btw the car just came back from the hot rod power tour
if anyone saw a slammed killer twin turbo 69 camaro
that was it
