Will this intercooler be sufficient for me?

It's a 350 with twin turbos. I'm only looking to push about 12 psi. I picked up a pair of intercoolers for dirt cheap off ebay..but upon looking at them they seem smaller than I expected. The cores are 8 inches wide, 7 inches long, and 2.75 thick. I will be doubling them up, so it will have effectivly 16 wide x 7l ong x 2.75 deep of core.

Will they be effective, better than nothing, neutral, or cost me more in restriction than I'll get from cooling? I knew from the start it wouldn't be as ideal as a big spearco or something..but I'd be happy with just better than nothing.

Sound like the same size as the 2.3L coolers. Definately better than nothing. Just keep an eye on the knock, cause it might not cool enough.

actually monitor your IAT temps with and without the coolers and see if they make a noticeable difference

Whats an IAT?

If I had one it wouldn't be a bad suggestion, and I thought about rigging one up to a readout anyway just for reference, but I'd like to have some idea before I go through the trouble of fitting them in there.

Sounds like they wont flow much, check out the 18x6x3.5 spearco here, decently priced, you can make both flow in the bottom then single out to the TB www.roadraceengineering.com
