nitrous on my little 305
hey guys i just rebuilt my 305 last winter and it has about 5000 miles on it now, still runs really good. it ran a 14.8 @93 mph with a crummy 2.2 60ft. in the summer heat my converter is a little too tight for the cam i am runnin but i plan on swappin in a 6 speed in the future. i am seriously thinkin of adding a 100-125 horse shot to my motor this winter and was wondering what kind of drop in ET i would expect from a 100 horse shot. i may also buy an aftermarket base but not sure if i will have the cash for that yet.

well buttsauce i guess we will find out wont we?
but like i said, i would be darn careful about sprayin on a motor that only has 125psi compression per hole. that is mighty low you will have alot of blow by when you hit the button. nitrous, as with any power adder, will boost cylinder pressures and with already marginal ring seal you wont be helpin things. you better tie the dipstick tube in and tape the pcv and oil cap down, dont belive me? talk to the turbo and blower guys, same thing happens to them too.
