so many ?'s so little patience!
ok I have ?'s about the ATI-Procharger D1-sc 3core kit and searching will only take all my time because I have 2 jobs and not much free time... any help is really appreciated.
1)My engine is almost stock, will the bottom end hold up?
2)They say they make stock TPI's hit routine 11's from stock setup, is it true?
3)3-core intercooler, from the looks of it it pretty much cuts off cooling air to the radiator, anyone experience overheating?
4)My car's body is ****ed up, should I just say "to hell with it" and get the kit?

1) the pulleys for the kit as delivered will be fine with your totally stock setup. fuel quality is important, headgaskets are more likely to fail before the bottom end, so check your dipstick (engine hot) and radiator (engine cool) often looking for strange signs if you suspect anything. 2) some here may have achieved those results but 12's or traction limited 13's are more common atleast when you first start out. 3) some have like nevada, arizona, texas owners but I have no problems on hot days with the AC on even. If you live in a particularly hot climate you may want to look at the twin intercooler setup listed on this board page. Since 3 gens can be had for cheap. sometimes getting another car and building it should be considered. I bought this car for $400 and with a transplant of parts from my EFI converted 355 82 (was too ugly) I built a car that weighed 2800# without driver it ran 11.90's sometimes and 12.00 flat consistent with a soft tune on the powershot nitroused 355. it was so light because it was a non AC, power nothing (exept rear hatch pop lock). you could say to hell with it, get the kit and buy a cheap car to swap your best stuff onto. I put my moser 9", a T56, and subframes on that car all from the '82. "Sniff

Thanx there buddy, and I was just asking on how the stock setup results would be, I'm pulling the motor out and building it to my specs, already have a beefed trans, I need a strong driveshaft and rear, then after all that comes the SC.
