Turboing a 6 cylinder
Turboing a 6 cylinder
i was just thinking has anyone used a semitruck turbo or something like that and puttin git on my v-6 for now. i figured i could use like a 50 shot to get it where it has to be to spool and let it do its job. anybody ever thought abuot it or have any ideas?
Quite honestly, the $$ you would put into your 3.1 for the forged parts you WOULD need would not be worth it. If you're stuck on using a V6, look into swapping a GN/TTA engine. It's really not INSANELY difficult from what i understand, and obviously some very nice numbers can be achieved

probably a good idea to use the 4.3
you have more room in the front of the engine for tubing.
you can use sbc accesories.
you can get forged parts.
and you can bolt that engine up to a decient drive train with a bit more ease
