I just got my turbine housings, bearing housings, wastegate housings, downpipes, and headers ceramic coated last week at a local Chicago coating shop. Cost for everything was $275. I haven't run the engine again yet, but the coated stuff sure looks good. The shop guarantee's it for 3 years.
Here's how some of it turned out:

What brand powders do you use? That looks simply awesome. I have been looking for gun metal but can only find blue and green shades of it.
Thanks,

Monty,
That looks great. Im looking into Higher temp stuff then ceramic's this way it wont fade etc. and I can give a lifetime garrenty. YES LIFETIME... possably at a lower cost also.. Just something I do on the side etc..
FAQman. the gun metal gray was my own mix of powders. anyways i use a few diff. brands. 99% of the time either
PPG, Tyger Drylac.
I used the eastwood crap befor but for the price they charge I can get 100x more of the better stuff because a buddy I get my powder from buys in 55gallon drums at a time.
This is another reason I can beat anybodys prices on doing work.
