rebuild w/ supercharger?

hey, this wuestion isnt very specific but in general if u add a supercharger to a stock engine would u be better of rebuilding? even if a car had like 50k or less miles? thanks

Should be fine as long as the engine is in good shape and you run the recommended boost from the blower manufacturer. Most kits are designed for the stock motors and are reliable as long as the engine is maintained (just like any engine). I'm running a L98 with 113k miles and a Vortech S-Trim V1 @ 6psi. I do plan to rebuild the motor soon, but only because I want to push more boost. If the compression is off, or the motor smokes or leaks oil or anything, then thats a sign that you should rebuild.
