Help- 87 & 88 Tpi Engines

I have and 87 GTA with TPI and I want to supercharge it, I was looking at Prochrager cause they seem to be the best but they claim that the kit will only work on a 88 and up TPI. I was wondering if anyone knows the differences between a 87 and 88, externally that would cause that. I need some advice on what to do here. Thanks in advance

I believe the only reason you can't use it is your accessory setup. Change over to a serpentine setup and you're good to go.
