I dont know about that but I have heard of a phenomenon that causes the TB blade or blades to stay open from airflow when used before the blower/turbo, anyone else?

My friend made a custom setup with the throttle body before the charger and never had a problem running without a bypass valve. It will depend on the type of charger you use. He was using a roots style with cog belt. Centrifugals may give you problems because they function differently, but I know the setup was fine with the roots style. hth
