New motor: how much would you juice it?
Here is my new short block all complete and almost ready to throw into the car. I'm thinking of running an independent fuel system with race gas for the nitrous. Do you think this could safely handle a 200HP shot? I hope to dip into the 10.80-11.00 range.
- 355ci 4-bolt 1980's block.
- GM forged crankshaft
- Childs & Albert 5.7" forged rods
- TRW forged flat tops. 9.7:1 with 64cc heads.
- Clevite bearings, ARP bolts throughout.
Any parts I should expect to fail sooner than they should? Or do you think this is a nicely built bottom end?
Thanks,
Chris
