Your 305 will handle a 100 HP shot of spray as long as your ignition and fuel system is in good working order. You should also run a step colder spark plug than what thae factory calls for and retard your timing about 2-3 degrees. Just make sure your getting enough fuel because lack of fuel is what causes most NOS engines to fail.

The most important things to check out is the wires going to the soilnoids, especially the fuel solnoid. Maybe go through with a test light and make sure everything works (With the bottle off). Making sure these wires stay put is good insurance (solder). A fuel pressure guage is helpful in making sure pressure doesn't "fall off" while your spraying. Change your fuel filter more frequently. Start with the 75hp and work up, but remember not to get "nitrous fever" a.k.a. pill it 'till ya kill it. Ignition mods are top priority (good wires, coil, aftermarket CD if funds allow). Never spray with the engine off. Don't start it if you do (purge it by removing the coil wire and gas to floor crank several seconds)

These levels of augmentation seem pretty safe even if something goes wrong, but it's better safe than melted. Happy sprayin' let me know how much faster it feels!!!
