TTZ28 test drive #2

Since it was nice out Saturday, I did a little bit of work to the Z and took it for a crank...

First, I installed my BOV..

Then I went for a drive.. Everything seemed to be going ok until I got into a little boost (10 psi) and the car stalled... doh! I rolled into a parking lot and took the pressure piping off.. After that, I noticed the primaries weren't getting any fuel... Strange...

I took the sight plug out and noticed the fuel bowl float was against the top of the bowl.. Crap! Sooo, I pulled the float bowl and this is what I get....

Guess I forgot that I still had a hollow float in the front, instead of the needed nitrophyl unit.. A quick call to my friend and he was over in about 10 minutes with a nitrophyl float and I was back up and running in no time..

I thought I heard a little detonation so I'm going to jet up the back to 95's.. I'm currently running 74/85...

The car still hasen't seen more than 3/4 throttle and that's still enough to give my ET Streets a good go.. Should be interesting to see what happens at WOT..

BTW, my web page is updated..

Cheers,

Keep at it Drew, You make me want to break out my Beast, we may get a little snow or rain this weekend, we will see . I will be out soon, I need to tie up few lose ends before I even go into boost.

Good luck
