blowoff valve question...
I was looking through Sport Compact Magazine and ran across a blowoff valve from www.mrtrally.com it's called the StealthFX it has 2 outlets, one right into atmosphere, and one has a connection to route air back into the intake............It has a **** on top so you can switch from outlet to the other...
Do you think I can utilize this on my Procharger P600 setup? what would be the pros and cons of this (blow off into atmosphere instead of into the intake)?????

The way the most cheap blowoff valves work is that they vent when there is vacuum present. When using this type on a MAF car, it can cause a lean/rich problems since the all air flowing through the MAF wont be going into the engine all the time(assuming your MAF is before the charger). You might have idle problems, part throttle problems, etc, when using it this way, so the air has to be vented back into the intake.
Another solution would be to put the MAF right before the throttle body and run the BOV between the MAF and Charger. This way the MAF is still getting a "true" air reading.
Another solution would be to use a sequential type BOV that only vents when there is a sharp change in pressure.

i would suggest to look into the HKS super sequential blow off valve....has a nice sound and has a different kind of relief type that is more accurate at higher boost...others tend to leak, my blitz leaked around 15Ibs and the hks held boost perfectly....but that was on a turbo rotary

I also have a pair of HKS SSQV BOV's on my TT setup and they work very well. They don't seem to leak at all, but are very fast acting and repsonsive when they need to . Nice, distinctive sound as well.
