p600b goin in next week, few ?s

Hey guys, heres the story: Motor in sig gettin p600b w/ 9lb pulley and 3 core intercooler. How much boost do u think I will end up making? Also, right now I use 5w30 Mobil 1 but wasnt sure if it would be better to go with a thicker oil. Plugs: AC Delco FR3LS plugs (2 steps cooler), is that OK? And how loud is this thing gonna be I just listened to maniacs D1SC and that thing sounds friggin loud! I just read a post saying that the p600b is even louder, is this true? Any comments or suggestions feel free to post. Thanks

with 10:1 compression make sure you back the timing down just a little and keep good gas in it. You should get some pretty good gains. As for what kind of boost yo will see, I couldnt tell you that.

Good luck! Sounds fun

Also, i see you are doing your own PROMS. have you considered swapping to a 7730 ECM?? It wouls sure make life easier and keep the ECM happier. You could even take it a step further and go with the SY/TY code that could register boost then you could put 42 or 50# injectors in and not even need an FMU.

Guido, I plan on sticking with the 165 ecm w/ the FMU cuz it seems like the easiest to do. Having never owned a boosted motor, Im not sure on the type of oil. Should I use 10w 30 synthetic instead of 5w30. Thanks
