Car: 87 Trans Am
Engine: 355ci
Transmission: w/c T5
help with cam selection?
just wanted to know what cam I should use? I was thinking smothing with a 460-480 lift but not sure the valve springs will take that much? the engine has to go in the car on Friday. Here my setup:
350 bored .030 over =355ci
Edelbrock preformer RPM intake
Holley Street Advenger 670cfm carb
882 heads ported and polished
1.94 int, 1.50 ext
Double roller timing chain & gear
wanted to get aluminum heads but ran out of money
so if anyone can help me out that would be cool.

What’s the application? Blown, N2O...? What’s the goal? What do the ported 882’s flow (they can be anything from OK to pretty good)?
