turbo or roots blower?
turbo or roots blower?
i can get a complete 10-71 roots blower kit (includes manifold pulleys and all other things) for $2600. its nearly hassle free installation with the things i already have, so why should i put more time (hopefully the same money) into a single or twin turbo setup? i have mechanical fuel injection, so blow through isnt a problem. its an enderle bird catcher supercharger hat, put on a modified tunnel ram. i could blow through this setup as easy as i could draw through with a roots blower, so no need to even consider that. what im worried about is headers for turbo/s, intercoolers, oil and water lines, and wastegate control *****/other boost gauges. this is a big block pontiac im putting in my 87 formula, i got the motor mount conversion kit from indian adventures if anyone's wondering, when its in ill post pics. the poll is for roots blower(1) or turbo setup(2)

Holy crips... change to alky or meth.. vroom...
I guess it depends on what you are looking for..
does it need to be daily driven? street strip? strip only?
Turbos will be more freindly on a daily driven, and still have the ability to crank the boost on Friday.
The Eatons are a close cousin to a gmc type, both being positive displacement, full boost is available just off idle. Depending on whats in back might be a problem/ or not.
I used 2 M90's... mostly due to $$ reasons..
