fell into some money....time for some upgrades

well, i started college and found out i have ost of my classes paid for because of scholarships:hail: . well, i would like to do something to my crate motor to wake it up even more.

the motor ois the sdpc 350 ho deluxe. i was thinking of changing the intake to a performer rpm air-gap, the carb to a 750 vs( currently is a 600 cfm holley), and maybe change the cam. well what do ya'll think?? is it worth it to do this??

thanks

a cam will definately be worth the money. and intake and carb can do wonders at times also. i would do intake for sure if you have a stock iron intake now to save weight. and carb well its one of those things prolly wouldn't hurt but don't really need it. look also at maybe getting some heads (or porting yours) that would probably be about the cost of a new carb and you should see better results from that.

i'd guarantee you'd get more out of a cam. but that is much harder to do than an intake. might i sugeest maybe just doing intake and all of the "cheaper" mods. like K&N, syn. oil, ignition toys, etc, etc. if you don't want to get "into" the motor. also u may look into some 1.6 RR's too. that is very easy to do in a evening.
