Well I finaly got my first 10 sec pass on sunday with a 200 shot. It went a 10.96 @122.92. needless to say I was happy as can be! just thought I would come here and share

all with a little 355 and 9.45 compression

I had a 1.52 60ft. it went a 6.99 in the 1/8th @99 it was also 93 deg that day to here in ga.

Ya I know. I have been trying to sell it for like 3 months now. I have just been playing around with it getting it run the best it can. I never expected it to run a a 10 sec pass! I was astonished when it did. Who knows I might end up keeping it in the car if nobody buys it soon I will just sit my 406 on the stand and leave it be.........

first off congrats on the 10's:hail: second thanks for the inspiration to get to the 10"s with a 200 shot. i've been running a 150 shot and just bought a cheater kit so i can run a 180, 200 or 250 shot. i need to knock off 4/10's and hopefull on the right nite with a 200 shot i might see those numbers myself. again congrats!

hahahaha. I just wish you were here for the first 10sec pass. who knows I might be up there when you get your z in the 10s this year!!!!!! and dont say it wont do it. look at my car and look at yours. its lighter, has more motor and is built stronger!

baddest305. thanx for the compliment. I ran a 11.40 I think? with a 150 or an 11.30 so it can be done with the right setup. \i think you should get there with good air and cool weather.

If I can figuire out how to download the video from the digital camera I will see if someone can host the video for a short time. I ahve one 10 sec pass and an 11.30 pass

Nice pass man. You get any daylight under the tires?

It runs 12.30's-12.40.s on motor. As for the daylight under the tires its wierd. It leaves harder with the 150 than the 200 ??? When I left on a 150 2 weeks ago it had both tires about 6in off the ground but since then I have been leaving on 200 and it just squats and leaves every now and then the left tire gets like 1in or so. But hey hanging the tires or a 10 sec pass ya ill take tens anyday

eatonton GA, huh? well, i am down here in Warner Robins waiting on my motor to get done, congratulations on the great times. i am hoping for numbers like that soon. did you go to Renyolds or Commerce? how do you like Headhunters there in eatonton? i was just there two/three weeks ago with my dad and his car. it's definetly an "interesting" track...

holy **** someone else from the area!! lol. Yeah I go to headhunters almost everyweek. I have an red 88 trans am with a 4in cowl. I went to reynolds on the 22nd when I made that pass. I just wish I could run the same 1/8mile time at silver dollar as I do at headhunters. I run 6.99 at silver dollar and 6.92-6.93's at headhunters.

Yeah heaadhunters is an interesting track, but it is also one of the coolest place to race at. Its like a big happy legal street race. I know the owners and they are cool as hell. We will have to get together sometime and go racing. give me an e-mali some time

Cool, I was there at SDR and I remember seeing your car there...it was the only red GTA there. Congrats on the 10s, one of these days I'll be there, with the help of a little blue bottle of course.

I had the black IROC with the Draglites (not to be confused with the other black IROC with the headlite covers) but I was only running 12.80s-12.90s that day.

I remember that car. I pointed it out to my friend with the other black iroc that other car runs like 13.0's--13.10's I had to always look at the wheels to see who it was. He runs the convo pro's. He is a good friend of mine we race together all the time. WHy were you off your times that day ? I thought I saw you ran some 12.30s usually.. I remeber talking to someone about your car a while back.

As for being the only red GTA there that is getting to be a norm latley. It seems as if all the thirdgens I see at events are all Z-28's or IROC's. I hardley see any trans am's or gta's at all anymore Mine is hard to miss with the 4in cowl though
Well if heaing to sdr one day lt me know maybe we can meet up or something and shoot the **** and go racing.
