DEMON and PROCHARGER problem?

is there a problem? Demon says, they do not recommend using procharger with demon carb. Any idea why?

"Steve

At this time we do not recommend the use of any of our products
with ATI Procharger systems.

Thank you

I hadnt ever heard of that. Vortech designs its carb enclosures for demon carbs, so i doubt they have a problem under boost.

they are not setup up for boost applications, IE you need solid floats and stuff for the internals of the carb to take the boost. i think that jegs sells the necessary supplies to make them ready to go though...

I was able to get through to ATI-tech. They said that, kinda' under duress, that DEMON Carbs "MIGHT" not flow as well as Holleys at low to middle RPM. It is all very strange to me. I know that Vortech uses the Mighty Demon for it's tests, (Read it in a magazine from 11/02 AND I called and asked) (This next line is sarcasm) They must use different prinipals of putting more air in cylinders, one forces more air/fuel, while the other increases the amount of air/fuel to each cylinder.

I'm wonering if there is something that happened that niether sompany will/can admit?

Thanks for the help, please keeep it coming,

Steve
