turboing a carb dangerous????

hey guys i bought a turbo kit (excluding turbo) im wondering what are my options to do
i know there is pull through and push through
but i heard that there is a big problem with non computer engines (they go lean) what are the ways of goin around that

let me give u a back round of my car i have a mallory fuel pressure regulator i redid the fuel lines to 3/8" the car still has the stock intank fuel pump if you need any more info check out my site in my sig

You need a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator. In order to prevent it from leaning out, you run a vacuum line from the carb hat (or whatever method you use if you chose a blow through setup) to the regulator, and the regulator will compensate boost by increasing the fuel pressure to the carb. One thing to be weary about, I sincerely doubt that your stock in tank pump is going to cut it.
