super chargers and cams????
i'm gonna make a supecharged 305. maybe even a 335. but my problem is i really don't understandwhat to look for in a cam. Whats the differnce between a blower cam and a regular cam of simular specs?
any kind of info or suggestions on cams would are geatly welcomed. thank you in advance.

camshafts with tight lobe seperation angles (LSA)
have increased overlap.
Overlap is a period when both intake and exhaust valves are open.
So if u have a tight LSA, your boost will go outright out the exhaust.
Id say between 112-117 LSA is what U need.
thats my opinion, maybe not 100% accurate, but close i find.
U can gat a 'blower cam' with just means no guess work for U
since the cam has the configuration needed for use with superchargers.

ok i just wanted to know if there was a differnce between the shapes of the lobes or not. and i don't wan to run a +.500 lift in a 335

That all depends on the motor...But usually around 114 LSA...also running MORE lift on the exhaust than the intake...
Like on my 355 I ran like .500 .510 114 LSA Dont remember the duration off of the top of my head...
