T-78 turbo on a TPI 350

im building a 91 S10 with a TPI 350, and just purchased a T-78 turbo, i need lots of help with computer and such... first of all i have a mass air harness (from an 88 iroc)... should i keep it, switch to speed density, or go to some sort of aftermarket engine management... i want the best i can afford! secondly what computer should i use? i've just read for the first time ever about burning my own chips, so im gonna look into that. and last what size fuel injectors? i live in denver co, and the altitude of course means less air, well with less air i need less fuel, so the injectors dont have to be quite as big as you sea level boys.

Haltech stuff the first barrier is actually getting your hands on it. once you have done that it is not very user friendly, especially for a first time ecm programmer. I belive no "starter" maps exist to get you "close" so the first fuel spark map must be created from scratch. also any service issues must be handled through the australian manufacturer or hopefully through one of the few importers.

I like the idea of using a stock ecm and burning your own chips. many here are having incredible success with the 749 ecm conversion. If you like really cool fuel dlivery then there are also wide band oxygen sensor fuel delivery ECM's offered by accel and F.A.S.T.

T-78!?!? I hope she is built well

see ya at bandemere
