This new Sniper nitrous oxide system is just what you need when you want extra horsepower, without the extra cost. Adjustable from 50 to 150 HP, it uses a standard medical grade type valve on the bottle, and has a natural aluminum finish on the carburetor plate. This kit includes a 10 lb. capacity nitrous bottle, aircraft-quality stainless steel braided hose, an injector plate, solenoids, and all other electrical and mounting hardware needed for a complete installation.

That valve looks way different than my valve on my NOS 10lb bottle. I would imagine its not the "high flow" valve or whatever. I always thought that the powershot solenoids were the only thing that limited that kit to making more horsepower. If I had it to do all over again (and didnt get a free kit), i would have gotten the NX Hitman kit for right around the same price.

YES
!!! , the sniper has a valve called a CGA326 which is a standard style medical nitrous valve. it has the ability regarless of what NOS says to flow a great deal of nitrous. These valves are used after a chromating/nickel plating process by NX and a few other companies as a standard valve in all thier kits. NOS usually uses a CGA660 which is a larger pattern valve. although the bottle valve itself wont fit from adapter to adapter, the bottle will fit in a bracket and the adapters are made to fit -4 and -6 nitrous lines. I know quite a few guys that own a variety of bottles using both patterns and they have two bottle adapters to put them in the car. Thread Starter

lmao, i didnt say steal.
athough my question still remains... other then it might not having a DOT stamping, can a medical nitrous bottle be used?
because if i can find where to buy one, its probly alot cheaper then a racing shop....... not to mention, since they are often transported full, they probly DO have the stamping...

I don't remember, my brother has it now, but it's a darkish blue or green and it's about as long as a 15lb N2O bottle... I can look the next time I'm up there if it's important
