Vaccum needed!!

Hello,
Please see sig for motor mods, I have a ATI Blower so at normal driving I have about 14-16 of vaccum, however when it drops to 5 or less or even when I am in boost the dash vents close and all the air blows from the defrost vents. Can someone give me suggestions on how I can fix this. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.

Brad

you need an industrial check valve between the accessory vacuum can and the intake.

84Ctom1,
First I want to thank you for the info. I am still confused a bit. I dont have a vaccum can., I had a small round plastic type, which I believe was used for the cruise control.

Where can I purchase this industrial check valve?

Thanks
Brad

Now that I know the problem, what is the proper way of hooking the can up? I think its like this: input to can is the intake, output of can goes to vents.

LOL It was sooo long ago that I removed mine that I cant exactly remember...

But I thought that the canister had 1 line TO IT....then there was a wierd check valve that TEE's into that line....one side of the line went to the HVAC system the other to the manifold....

But again Im going on rusty memory...
