Nitrous Fuel Line T-fitting Question

Well I went to home depot and got all the fittings to T into my fuel line and the necessary adapters from my speed shop, my question is: What should I use to seal the threads? Teflon paste? Is using teflon safe on these threads with fuel running through the fittings?

Thanks
Tony

You want to use teflon paste, not teflon tape. Pieces of teflon tape can wreak havoc on your fuel solenoid.

I agree with unknown, but you can use tape as long as it doesn't come close to the hole of the fitting.

Most Teflon paste has some good size chunks of Teflon in it. Getting that stuff in the lines is almost as bad as some tape.

Most fittings that should be used for fuel shouldn't need anything additional to seal them. If you insist on using some thing with a tapered thread (pipe thread/npt…) then I would recommend a sealant rated for natural gas/propane lines or something like hylomar…
