What 1/4 mile time will i run with a 100 shot of nos.

I have a stock 305 tpi, i ran a best of 15.25 at 87 with a 2.077 60ft time. If i run a hundered shot, the holley nos brand, what kind of time will i run . The engine has 55000 miles on it. So im not worried about it breaking. But i would like to know if its worth doin , i dont want it wo be like a 14.7 with nos, thats too slow. Will i get like a 14.20 or less. Thanks guys.

why not just use an et calculator, find the numbers that = the times you're running now and add 100 hp and see what it says?

That might be true for third gens, but that varies quite a bit. I added 100 HP to a 4cyl car and it went down 3 seconds just like that. But maybe the weight difference makes it only a second with the 3rd gens... i am curious to see... let us know!

my friend has a 67 mustang (2900 w/ driver), and on his old motor he ran a 14.8 N/A, then w/ 100 shot hit 13.4, thats with a C4 tranny, he then switched to a T5, and could only hit a 13.7 due to wheel hop off the line... but in anycase i'd guess you'll hit right around a 14.0

Yeah, this application was adding a turbo, and with that and supporting mods added 110 hp extra to the wheels... the cars curb weight was still around 2,900 lbs...

Seems to make a big difference with third gens...
