hiding nitrous bottle idea

for some of us who don't use nitrous very often and may only spray 50-75 shot a 2-5 pound bottle is all we need, i'l have to check the dimensions, but if they are small enough couldn't you mount it in the certer console? i would think that it would fit of the bottle was small enough, or even fab up an extented console that goes between the rear seats and moutn it there so it would be hidden, easy access, and plus you could even put some cup holders there so it would have some purpose besides hiding the nitrous bottle.. i dunno if this is totally rediculous or not but just an idea that popped into my head

Why waste your time? Anyone who knows better would rather look under your hood than look for a bottle inside the car. Rather than having a small bottle why not just put a 10lb bottle in the spare tire well (like most people). Most people dont look in there because, well, you cant without ripping interior peices out. I had no idea my spare tire well existed until like 6 months after I bought my car so your average Joe Looker isn't gonna say "hey whats behind this panel?"

I'd be surprised if you couldn't slide a 10lb in there with some careful surgery, at least in a pre '85 'bird or any 3rd gen camaro… Especially if you're lengthening the console.

The other side of this is, who cares? why waste your time hiding it? It's not like you can't figure out someone is spraying if they are...

some of the rednecks down here down kow a thing about nitrous oxide, and i wanted to put it there because its easy access for me while driving, the other people in the car can't mess with it, its not blocking anything in the back seat, and uhh i need a spare tire incase i get a flat so this was really the only option for me i was just wondering if anyone has done it before or not

Huh… I think I've got 2 or 3 cans of fix a flat that travel between my f-bodies, even if they've never seen any spray. The nice thing there is that you can actually fit a 15# bottle back there without going to too much effort… bigger bottles give you more stable shots then even the same weight of N2O in smaller bottles. If I could get them easily I'd probably run a 20… still easy enough to make inconspicuous
