nitrous guage

I was looking at the autometer ultralite guages for nitrous. What exactly is electrical and mechanical and which would be the best? The mech is just the guage but the elc. comes with the N.P.T sender and harness. Which is the best and easiest to hook up? Also for the other guages I would like to do is the trans and air/fuel which should I pick with them mech or elec? It's for my 89 Iroc w/355 tpi

I would go electrical.....

With a Mechanical gauges you need to run a nitrous line to the gauge so it can read the pressure.....

Just a heads up, electronic guages are INCREDIBLY expensive compared to mechanical guages.

Do you really need the gauge on the dash?

I bought a mechanical one and was planning on installing it in my far-left vent. Leave the vent closed all the time except for when I'm using the spray, that way no one would ever know I have it. Was going to use the foglight switch as the arming switch and I have a WOT microswitch on the pedal. I don't have A/C at all though and may be getting rid of the heater as well when I rip the 305 out in the next week or two. My mechanical fuel pressure guage is going in the 2 1/2" cowl on the hood I'm getting.
