I have a 89 305TBI and was thinking about adding No2 but the motor has 172,xxx Miles
is its safe to add any at all or wait to rebuild it even though it might be a while

With 172K miles is it safe to drive the car?
Chances of damage is the same with a car with 100 miles as 100K miles. It's more up to what dumb stuff you do to it and is there anything about to let go anyway.

no the motor itself is a solid good running motor im rebuilding the transmission within the next month it wouldnt be used everytime I drove the car just the weekends and I dont even drive the car everyweekend and its also a nice though to have that power on demand
