It says the green wire from Primary fan relay and gray wire from Secondary fan relay need to be tapped into and grounded. What is the reason for this? With this setup my fans come on when the key is turned on or car running.
Its an attempt by Procharger to keep the car from running hot. The intercooler blocks most of the air to the radiator. When i had my blower the car ran 220-230 in the summer. I ran Water Wetter and had the fans tied together, with no luck. Check for posts by Willie on the dual intercooler set-up. They are moved to the sides of the car in front of the wheels, therefore allowing unrestricted airflow to the radiator. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the fast reply 92Z. See I took out the AC system and never realized the fans were all ready on all the time before I took it out and I couldn't figure out how to get them off. I'm not sure if I want to leave it that way or have it or hooked up to a toggle switch in the car. Never had any problems with high temps though. Thanks again.

You could also wire up a relay coming off of the fuel pump relay. Your fans would run only with the engine running. And you could still wire up your toggle switch if you wanted to shut them off while the car was running.
